PD30 Photoelectric Sensor Family with IO-Link

Carlo Gavazzi 's PD30 series offers some of the most functionality in a single photoelectric sensor currently on the market. The PD30 IO-Link smart sensors offer background suppression, foreground suppression, pointspot versions with sensing distances up to 350 mm, diffuse reflective variants with IR or red emitter and 1 meter sensing distance, and retro-reflective sensors with polarized or pointspot light source with sensing distance up to 6 meters.

Carlo Gavazzi introduces four special application functions pre-programmed into these sensors: speed and length, pattern recognition, divider/counter, and object and gap monitoring functions. Each has been developed to optimize common industry applications through design simplification, flexible configurations, and ease of maintenance/troubleshooting.
