Donald Bell Maker Update Maker Faire Bay Area 2019

This week on Maker Update, Donald Bell recaps three days of creation and innovation at the 14th annual Maker Faire Bay Area held at the San Mateo County Event Center in San Mateo, California May 17 -19. Among the hundreds of exhibits, Donald Bell highlights a large-scale construction of a vintage IC circuit, real component sanded cross-sections, a Microbit-controlled giant cardboard dinosaur, a high functioning and detailed R2D2 droid, a Pokeball made with 3D printed parts, DigiKey’s Circuit Python robot and a vintage car/industrial excavator vehicle called “Maria”.
