G5V Low Signal Relays

Omron’s G5V series are fully sealed low-signal relays offered in one pole (G5V-1) or two pole (G5V-2) types. The G5V-1 has a wide switching power of 1 mA to 1 A. It is an ultra-miniature relay at 12.5 mm x 7.5 mm x 10 mm (L x W x H), while the G5V-2 measures 20.5 mm x 10.1 mm x 11.5 mm (L x W x H). G5V-1 has a high-sensitivity coil, offering 150 mW nominal coil power consumption. The G5V-2 has wide switching power at 10 µA to 2 A. These relays have a high dielectric strength, holding 1000 V_AC between coil and contacts and 750 V_AC between contacts of the same polarity. The G5V-2 is a DPDT relay, unlike the G5V-1, which is SPDT. Both relays apply to telecommunication equipment and security equipment. Made from Ag/Au alloy contact material, the G5V-1 has a single crossbar, and the G5V-2 has a bifurcated crossbar.
