This DSC series provides high-performance, cost-effective solutions for digital power conversion and motor control applications.

The MC56F80xxx combines the processing power of a DSP and the functionality of an MCU with a flexible set of peripherals to support different applications. It includes advanced high-speed and high-accuracy peripherals such as eight-channel eFlexPWM with 312 ps resolution, dual high-speed 12-bit ADCs, two operational amplifiers, a quadrature decoder, and three analog comparators.

The MC56F80000-EVK is an ultra-low-cost development platform for the digital signal controller MC56F80xxx MCU. It is form-factor-compatible with the Arduino™ R3 pin layout.

  • Peripherals enable rapid prototyping, including a three-axis MEMS accelerometer, six PWMs, three user LEDs, four user push buttons for direct interaction, two OPAMP external feedback circuits, an SPI interfaced Flash memory, and three resistor dividers for ADC test
