About

Orvio is a product design and engineering consultancy, founded with a passion to bring innovative and interesting ideas to market. Originally working within the IoT and wireless sensor systems, we’ve since broadened our focus to cover a range of markets and industries from children's toys and consumer products, to scientific instrumentation and automation. Since inception in 2006 we’ve completed dozens of projects with varying levels of complexity for startups, university spin-outs, family-run businesses, and large multinational companies.

Orvio offers a range of services including early-stage feasibility studies, requirements engineering, proof of concept development, systems design, schematic capture and PCB layout, industrial/physical design, UI/UX design, embedded software development, design for manufacturability/test (DFM//DFT), prototype manufacture (in house), volume manufacture, compliance testing and certification, and supply chain management.
