New Product Discoveries - APEM's FNR Switch Series and Vox Power's VCCM600 Series

This episode of New Product Discoveries features the FNR series of sealed rocker switches from APEM and the VCCM600 series configurable power supply chassis from Vox Power.

APEM has created these waterproof rocker switches for every application, including those with rugged environments. They offer backlighting in five colors, dual-color available, with embedded LED resistor options.

These 20 mm diameter switches are watertight with an IP69K rating, making them a fitting choice for any rugged, taxing environment. The ergonomically designed rocker provides an intuitive encounter for each user.

Due to APEM’s vertical integration of this series, they are heavily customizable; including markings, type and length of leads, connectors, and more.

Next is the VCCM600 series from Vox Power. These modular power supplies allow the user to select up to four isolated outputs totaling 600 W continuous power and up to 750 W peak for up to five seconds.

The user can select the industrial chassis or the medically approved version, then choose any combination (up to four total) of the output modules available. Vox Power also provides accessories such as series and parallel output links, quick-connect terminals, heat sinks, and more.

Cooling can be done as conduction, convection, or forced air, depending on the application. This innovative design allows the unit to be installed in numerous applications, while the configuration options give the design engineers plenty of flexibility.
