IVQ-3005 Phase Mono Pulse Radar

The IVQ-3005 radar sensor from InnoSenT is designed for traffic and industrial applications. The provided data is especially beneficial for traffic statics and speed enforcement. Its range allows the monitoring of vehicles on roads with multiple lanes.

It operates in the 24 GHz ISM (industrial, scientific, and medical) band and comes with advanced MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuit) technology. The K-Band transceiver has an integrated programmable IF (intermediate frequency) amplifier and an integrated RF (radio frequency) preamplifier for long-range applications.

The integrated VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) module with MMIC technology ensures different modes: continuous-wave (CW) (velocity detection), frequency-shift keying (FSK) (velocity and distance detection of moving objects), or frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) (velocity and distance detection of moving and stationary objects). Within the detection range of 300 m to 400 m, depending on the RCS (radar cross section) of the detected object, it provides analog signals that can be used to derive information on distance, velocity, and movement direction.

The two receiving antennas enable phase comparison, which can be used to derive the angle of arrival in a defined field of view. It is equipped with I/Q channels for the differentiation of the objects' movement direction.
