Image of Amphenol ICC's AirMax® Power Connectors Amphenol's AirMax power connectors are a perfect complement to Amphenol's ExaMAX®, AirMax, ZipLine®, and Millipacs® signal connectors. These power connectors mount alongside their signal counterparts and are used in applications where bulk current is delivered by backplane or midplane to power-consuming components on a mating daughter card.

  • Enables up to 80 A in a 12 mm wide 1x2 or 2x2 module
  • Assures compatibility with any hard metric signal connectors
  • Options for first-mate/last-break sequencing with 2 pin

  • Finger-safe backplane receptacles assure operator safety
  • Press-fit termination
  • Hard metric equipment practice
  • High-temperature housings suitable for reflow processing
  • Fits any manufacturing process
  • Multiple points of contact made of high-conductivity copper alloy
  • Unique housing design allows airflow
  • 1x2 version carries 40 A per contact for a total of 80 A per module
  • 2x2, 2x3, and 2x4 versions carry 20 A per contact
  • UL 60950 compliant (finger-safe)
  • Halogen and halogen-free versions are available
