Stewart Connector USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 IP67 - New Product Introduction

With USB Type-C continuing to gain traction with new designs, Stewart Connector decided to level up. Their newest USB-C was created for use anywhere, including rugged environments. Their extensive testing has proven this design to meet IP67 levels (dust-tight and waterproof up to 30 minutes in 1M or less water).

That’s not the only desirable feature packed into this component. This 3.2 Gen 2 USB also supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Gen 2. It is a surface-mount (SMD) device with right angle orientation that is reflow solder compatible and packaged in tape and reel for pick and place machine use.

Sound good? There’s more.

  • Up to 5A current carrying capacity
  • Gold contact finish
  • Large operating temperature range (-40°C to 80°C)

There’s plenty of uses for this robust connector, both new and old. Whether you’re looking to update an old design or searching for the perfect solution in a new design, this is a top contender that you’ll want to consider. Who knew you could be so excited about a USB-C connector?
