New Product Discoveries - M5 Stack and Allied Vision

This episode of New Product Discoveries features unique technology from M5 Stack and Allied Vision.

M5 Stack provides a creative solution to bridging the gap from development to completion. Their innovative line of modular, stackable development kits is designed around the ESP32 SoC that provides WiFi and Bluetooth functionalities.

Three products are featured here: the Core2 reference hardware kit for AWS IoT EduKit, the CoreInk black and white e-ink display, and the UnitV AI camera.

Each of these products, along with the rest of the product line from M5 Stack, provides combinable modules to streamline an avant-garde finished product.

Allied Vision’s Alvium 1800 series of USB Cameras is a forward-thinking line of products that make it easier to infiltrate the world of machine vision or add to embedded or industrial applications.

These cameras are available as monochrome or color with an 808 x 608 resolution and .5 megapixels at 115 frames per second. They provide 256KB ram and 1025KB flash memory, and all image corrections and preprocessing tasks are performed onboard the camera.
