The MAXREFDES46# is a compact, analog, remote terminal unit (RTU) programmable logic controller (PLC). This design features four accurate, isolated analog inputs and four accurate, isolated analog outputs. RS-485 is done via isolated RS-485, in addition to USB for debugging purposes. The unit runs from a 24V DC supply. Test data shows excellent performance for both high speed and DC signals.

This unipolar to bipolar signal conditioning circuit uses an op amp with negative feedback and three resistors in a modified summing amplifier configuration to generate high-voltage bipolar outputs from a generic single supply unipolar digital-to-analog converter (DAC).

The TUSB9261DEMO board is a free-standing reference design that acts as a bridge between a SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0) bus and a Serial–ATA (SATA) device. The TUSB9261DEMO is used to evaluate system compatibility. It provides a TUSB9261 hardware reference design for connection to a SATA device such as a solid state drive, hard disk drive, DVD drive, or Blu-Ray drive.

The UM232H-B is a development module for FTDI’s FT232H Hi-speed to serial/parallel interface converter. This single channel IC can be configured to transfer data over the following interfaces: UART, 245 FIFO, FT1248, I2C, SPI, and GPIO.

In PLC and DCS systems, analog output currents and voltages provide critical control and actuation functions. The Carmel (MAXREFDES18#) reference design shown in Figure 1 provides a flexible and programmable analog output that meets industrial control requirements.

Cypress’s Powerline Communication Solution (PLC) enables transmission of command and control data over high voltage and low voltage powerlines. This solution is developed for low bandwidth powerline communication.

The CY4609 RDK is based on the CYUSB3304-68LTXC hub controller. It is a small form-factor hardware supporting four USB 3.0 downstream ports that conform to USB 3.0 and BC v1.2 specifications. The ports also support Ghost Charging and emulate Apple charging. The upstream port is implemented using a USB 3.0 micro-B connector.
